Hornets fans have been holding their breaths all offseason waiting to see if 3-time all-star point guard, Kemba Walker, would return to Charlotte next season. Unfortunately, it appears that will not be the case.
Kemba Walker intends to sign with the Boston Celtics once free agency begins, per source. The 29-year-old point guard made his decision yesterday, and unless something drastic happens, he will end up in Boston. No other details have been provided.
This now leaves the Hornets in full rebuild mode after losing their franchise player for the past eight seasons. Kemba Walker, as many of you know, was the heart and soul of this organization. Now Charlotte is expected to move forward without him.
We will keep you up to date on any further details.
